Geely, the owner of Volvo and Polestar, is launching a new high-end electric vehicle brand called Geely Galaxy to compete with Tesla and BYD. Geely acquired Volvo in 2010 and gained access to its advanced technology and racing partner, Polestar. Geely Galaxy will release seven new electric products, including three fully electric vehicles under the pure Galaxy E range. The first vehicle, the Galaxy E8, will be delivered in late 2023, featuring the latest battery safety technology and the new Galaxy N-Operating system for fast system startup and response. |
