The World Economic Forum predicts that millions of jobs could be lost due to digital transformation, but the good news is that most workers are safe for now. Tech-related jobs, especially those related to A.I. and sustainability, are expected to grow the fastest. Creative thinking, analytical thinking, and technological literacy are the top three skills that will be most important in the next five years. Clerical and administrative roles are expected to decline the fastest. Even if your job isn’t on the list, it may still change due to digitization and A.I. Employers are having difficulty finding people with the technical skills they need, so upskilling can give workers the upper hand. |
