| US technology firms Anduril and Palantir are playing a key role in providing Ukraine with battlefield AI technology. Anduril is developing surveillance towers, drones, unmanned submarines and AI-driven systems, while Palantir is building digital infrastructure to manage data on security threats. Both are ‘dual use’ businesses which work with private and government clients, and have won contracts in America, Australia and Ukraine. The use of technology by the Ukrainians is not only changing the way they fight but also influencing Russia’s tactics. |
